Daisy Xie possesses over 17 years of professional experience in international education, with frontline teaching and leadership experience at international and bilingual schools in Shanghai, having served as Curriculum Leader and Deputy Head of Primary School. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship(NPQH) and is proficient in the Chinese National Curriculum as well as international curricula including the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). Daisy has successfully led multiple key school development initiatives, such as backward design, inquiry-based learning, bilingual oracy development, and the metacognitive pedagogy. She is passionate about designing professional development (CPD) programmes and believes that high-quality teaching, continuous teacher growth, and student-centred practice are the cornerstones of effective education.
