Jonathan Hannam
Educational Facilitator
Jonathan works with a wide range of schools as a freelance educational facilitator specialising in leadership development, learning culture, well-being, coaching and pedagogy including metacognition and P4C. He has been a P4C trainer for over 18 years and has helped many schools embed P4C and Thinking Moves as a transformational pedagogy. Prior to his current freelance work he was a headteacher of three schools over a 12 year period and led one school to achieve the SAPERE Gold Award. He has been involved with Thinking Moves and Dialogue Works for over 5 years and is passionate about the power of Thinking Moves A-Z to transform children's thinking and learning through metacognition. He doesn’t believe there is a better model than Thinking Moves to support teachers to operationalise metacognition in the classroom. In addition he regularly facilitates NPQH, NPQSL and other leadership programmes for the DfE/Winchester University and undertake bespoke development for schools on teaching and learning and leadership/coaching, as well as providing 1:1 coaching for many school leaders.
